Does anyone have a source for a new center link for a 70 98 Olds Convertible? Thanks

Call Craig at MobileParts. 516-485-1935. I got a set of NOS front drums for my 64 98. He has a ton of NOS stuff, including a lot of center links, etc.

The only draw back is that you have to pay him with a postal money order, but he ships out ultra quick.

I'm getting ready to call him about some more stuff I need.

Genuinely a good guy to deal with!

Those are tough - I had a hard time finding one in 1993, and had to pay through the nose for it.

In the back of my mind, I think that P-S-T listed them, though I may be wrong.

Craig, as mentioned above, seems to have a lot of nice, real GM NOS stuff, so if he's got one, that's a great option, too. He's low tech, so you have to call him on the phone to get info from him.

a mere $201

http://shop.rareparts.com/smtp/shopd...&%20COMPONENTS

This is what I found when I needed one, same story

Car lasted about a month more then died of a crash
center link sold right away for $100

I have one of each hanging in the garage- S type and T type- for How To Discern examples. Used but still tight.

1970 Olds 98 Center Link

Hey, THANX for the endorsements, Adam & Eric & others!!!!!! Really appreciate it.... you guys are on the computer more than i am, also...

YES -- I do have your Center Link -- Brand new -- no core required -- and it would actually be a good idea to keep the core because they CAN be rebuilt
(the pivots are opened up, new guts replaced, and welded back shut) -- but that is MORE Expensive than a New One....

I also have the matching Idler Arm --- N.O.S. U.S.A. (but not G M like Adam's Drums!!!! -- I can't have absolutely everything!!!!)

Give me a call -- 516 - 485 - 1935... New York....
Thanx again to you guys -- "Ride On with comfort"

1970 OLDS Center Link

Haven't heard from you in these couple of weeks for the Center Link -- and I K N E W I had it -- but I did go back and check --- your CENTER LINK is a
DS735 (the olds TRW and MOOG #s) and your Idler Arm is an 18653 (TRW #) and -------- I DO ---------- have them N.O.S. U.S.A. made (not a lot!!!)
The CENTER LINK is 190.00 NEW (No Core Required) and
The IDLER ARM is 65.00 NEW
250.00 for the set ---- plus actual shipping or pick up in Long Island, NY,
depending on where you are , etc. etc.
