1968 98 Convertible Value?

I have a '68 98 convertible needing restoration and I'm kinda at a fork in the road. It is a complete car with what I think is the original drivetrain in it. It has sat outdoors unprotected for a number of years and is in need of some serious help.
I have found front to rear floorpans from c2cfabrication for less than $80. per side which I think will help greatly in its appearance and use-ability (if that's a word). It will need other interior items, dash pad, seats recovered, etc. & things to be expected from sitting outdoors. The body otherwise is relatively solid. Good solid trunk floor.
Here's the question: Is this car at its stage worth the expense of a total restoration? Not doing anything show-quality, but also thinking about future resale worth. I've been told that the '68 98 convertible is the rarest of all post-war Olds convertibles. Poking around on other sites, there doesn't seem to be much about the big Olds cars in terms of much traffic or interest in them like the Cutlasses. If it was a Cutlass or 442 in this shape, it would be a no-brainer about restoring it and its value.
I don't want to throw good money after bad in doing a total restoration. Don't know if it would be a better candidate for a good parts car to help others in their efforts to restore something a little further along to begin with. Any thoughts?

Thanks, Gary
