What's up people.

New to the forum. Have built a few cars, but I'm building my first Olds. I picked up a 61 dynamic 88 and a 62 starfire. The body on the 62 is shot out and the 61 is good. I'm going to put the bucket seats, center console and motor from the 62 into the 61. Looking forward to a new project.

Ps...
I have a lot of good parts from the 62 that I will not be using if anyone needs something. I live in Boca Raton Florida.

Welcome to Classic Oldsmobile. Is the '61 a 2 door hardtop? Iv'e always preferred them to the "much sought after " '61 Chevrolet "Bubble Tops". Good luck with the project,we're all glad you choose a OLDSMOBILE . Please post pictures. Larry

Welcome to the site, post some pictures of your project. I'm glad to see more of the full size gaining attention.

Welcome aboard. Sounds like someone didn't like the 62 or had surplus ammo to burn? Good to hear you can salvage parts from it.

Hi Krashman, welcome to Classic Olds. I have a customer looking for some of the clips that hold the center bead molding on the 62 side panels on the doors and quarter panels.
Would you have them still?
Thanks Steve

Any way that you can text me a pic of what they look like? I bought the car with the molding all taken off and put inside the car. I do have boxes of hardware and small moldings. My cell is 954-868-8131.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your good taste in project cars. The 61 is a great looking car not seen too often, post some pictures when you can. Keep those big Oldsmobiles on the road!
