Newbie from Charlotte NC/Lake Wylie SC area

Hi Guys,
Just bought a 1971 Cutlass Convertible. Does anyone know of a reasonable paint and body man in the area?

Thanks, Gary

Welcome to the site, post some pictures when you get a chance. Hopefully other members in your area may have a recommendation, if not go to some car shows or contact some car clubs in the spring and ask people in your area who they would recommend.

Welcome to the site. I am down the road from you in Gastonia NC. Hopefully i will see you around with the top down once we start getting some spring like weather. Fort Mill BBQ has a cruise in the second Saturday of the month starting April thru October. We also have the Spring AutoFair at the Charlotte speedway the first weekend of April. I have heard a lot of good reviews for a paint and Body shop in Charlotte. I think the name of it is Hudson brothers or something like that.

Good luck

71cutlassdroptop I would love to pick you brain one day. I go to the Gastonia skeet and trap club on Tuesdays sometimes.

I would say 10 feet. LoL

It needs new paint and new interior but the bones are good.
It has a dual gate shifter, tic toc tac, w27 cover, and all new front end with sway bars front and back.

I think I did ok on it.
