CL: 1967 Oldsmobile 442 Project - $2500 (Crystal Lake, IL)
Seems like a pretty good start to a 442 project. No engine though:

I am offering this 1967 Oldsmobile 442 for sale. It is an abandoned restoration project. There is no engine or transmission (I purchased it that way). The car is mostly complete as you can see in the pictures. If you do not see it, please do not assume it is there! I have loosely hung the front end, bumpers and trim on the car so that you can see what is present. The right fender extension that is not primered (still sort of red)is damaged and will require replacement. There is certainly enough car there to start a great restoration project as it being a 442 will be worth more and way cooler than just a Cutlass when completed.
I am not certain if the steering wheel is original and it is missing the horn button. Also to note, there is no rear seat. The radio in it is aftermarket and I do not have the original. I do have a clear and clean title for the car but I do not have a set of keys. This is a project car that will require a lot of work to be a show car again. The floor is decent but will require patch in the rear seat section where the side arm rests would be located. It will need the trunk pan replaced. You can have the wheels that are on it now (15" in the front and 14" on the back) or I can swap the back ones with some rollers that hold air better if you are going to haul it with a dolly. We can also help you load it onto your trailer if you come during normal business hours. I can help with some short term storage for free if the car is paid in full. Please ask in advance.
According to a website I found, the cowl decodes as follows:
01B (second week of January)
67-33817 (1967- Hardtop Coupe) LAN (Lansing Michigan plant) 3238 (car number 3,238)
980-C ( R-2 (Spanish red with White top?)
W (???)
5V(Deluxe seatbelts)
I am asking $2,500 obo. It is located in Crystal Lake, IL. I will be available after Friday to show the car. Please do not call unless you have a serious question or are ready to come and look at the car when you make the call. I don't need to know that you might be out in a few days. Please only call between 9:00am-9:00 pm. I will accept respectful offers. Thanks for looking! John 847-366-92o8

Without a matching-number engine and, presumably, no documentation, it's hard to prove it's a real 4-4-2.
If it's not, $2,500 for a rusty Cutlass body with no drive train isn't really a great deal.
From the photo, it could be a 4-4-2 with a Cutlass hood or a Cutlass with a 4-4-2 grille.
The 4-4-2 hood is a significant and expensive item that's missing.
Hard to find a hood at all, much less find a good one.
It DOES have the correct dash emblem. Tail light bezels and trunk moulding are
blacked in like a 4-4-2 should have.
Couldn't see the 4-4-2 emblems on the trunk or fenders in the pics.
Arm rest bech seat is a plus, even with the wrong upholstery.
(I saw that Legendary is now making the correct upholstery for the arm rest bench seat.)
Not tryig to nit pic, just my 2 cents worth.
