455 intake advice

Hello, My current project is a 1972 cutlass s with a rocket 350. I am looking at getting a rocket 455 and I am coming here looking for advice on what intake would be the best for performance.

Thanks, Matthew

That question is impossible to answer without more info. For "best" performance (a term that means different things to different people), the intake must be matched to the rest of the engine and really the rest of the car. You need to be realistic about what your performance goals are for this car. For example, if you have a stock or mild 455 with a automatic and 3.42 gears in a car used as a cruiser, the Performer is probably "best". If you have aftermarket aluminum heads, a radical cam, and 4.33 gears, there are other manifolds that would be "best". The engine needs to be a total package where all the parts are selected to work together based on a given set of performance goals.
