1978 Delta 88 Holiday!

My name is Frank.
Picked up a 1978 Holiday 88 close to 2 years ago. All original and previously garage kept for 30+ years. I have been driving daily 500-600 miles a week. First Oldsmobile I ever owned (I know-wow). What a beast. I just replaced the inners/outers, center link and idler arm. I have next to do the upper control arms and lower ball joints and bushings. The drivers seat needs redone as the vinyl has begun to tear and a spring has sprung. I live in Michigan and the snow is coming! I need snow tires.
Was trying to locate a photo but only ones I have are on FB. My computer is new so here it is I hope this works.
Look forward to hearing from you.

I have two 78 deltas and a 78 and 76 regency as well, so I definitely have a passion for these cars too! welcome to classicolds, there are lots of good people on here to share knowledge and help each other out.. 5-600 miles a week, wow you must have a decent gas bill! funny, I joined this site just looking for an olds to buy at first and made some good friends in the process. post some pics when you finally can. dave

I once had a Ford Festiva (well I have actually had around 10 of them)! One I installed a sound system. Alpine mp3/wma receiver, alpine 6 1/2's in doors. 2 infinity R's in a tuned bass reflex cabinet and last but not least the MTX 1501 D MONO BLOCK AMP. Cost was about $2500 with the 0 gauge cable set up. A frien of mine said that was Ghetto (having a system worth 2x what the car was worth). So I coined it '2GHETTO' and ordered that as the personalized plate for the vehicle! Drove it for a couple of years like that. I borrowed moms jeep to take to Florida and haul some boat parts back. The people at her church got a kick out of her driving - '2GHETTO'
