Getting back in an Olds
Getting back in an Olds
Heh all, been a while. Finally getting my head screwed on straight and selling my '54 Ford tudor to get into a 1966 F85 Holiday Coupe. Will be giving it another look over this week but so far seems to be in real nice shape. Does need shocks but looking into why when I turn left when cornering it sounds like a rub coming from the right front wheel. What should I be looking for suspension wise?? All advice welcome.
SS1 and wider tires. Had the wife and son with me and didn't get a good look at tire width but suspecting that has something to do with it. Also has a little sag at the right front. Could use a few tips on what else to look for.
Welcome fellow "getting back into it man" from DFW, Texas....looking forward to reading and seeing more.
BTW I choose SSII's and some meatier tires just because I like that look. I have seen a '67 or two w/SSI's and period sized tires and they look good if that is the look you are going for.
