Thanks for the welcome. The PO definitely did not lie when he said he wasn't a mechanic. ---lol I also found out that whoever designed the starter access should be slapped---REALLY hard. Oh well, least it's changed. Working on the pics.

Yeah, the starter can be a real PITA, but it's manageable. More times you do it the easier it gets. Don't ask....
So it's an Oshawa car? You are in luck. If you don't already have documentation on your car, GM Canada has the historical docs on your car. George Zapora adminstrates the Vintage Vehicles section of the GM historical center. For a small fee he can send you authentication of how your car was born, and where it was originally sold etc.
