New guy from SW Michigan - '71 Cutlass Supreme

Hey everyone,

Just purchased a 1971 Cutlass Supreme out of Central California. Story is that it was in the same family since new. Just under 80K miles. Currently on a carrier making it's way to me. Can't wait to see what I actually bought.

Been a Cutlass fan for years. Bought a 1969 S when I was in high school in the early '80s. Had an '81 and '84 in the 90s which I put 1970 350s in them. Great cars. Even had a 95 with the quad four. LOL. Glad to find you folks, looking forward to scouring the forums and sharing my latest Cutlass adventure with everyone.

"Schaa, what's yer problem, bud?!"

I hope you got a real CA car and not one that spent its life in Ohio!

My 68 was found in Sacramento, and I worked on a '66 442 fom Cal., easy fixin'.

Welcome, and post photos. See you at Homecoming, Lansing, Father's day weekend?

Got her home!!!!

Looks like she hasn't had a bath or wax for some time. First order of business after work tomorrow. Didn't get a lot of pics before it got dark, but here is one in the garage, and one of the cowl tag (for 1970cs)

Passenger side.

Looks like someone put 15" wheels on it for me. The spare is still 14" though. LOL.
Surprized it is a 2 barrel though. Must have been ordered that way....thought the base Cutlass Supreme for 1971 had a 350 4 barrel. Overall....tickled pink!!!
