72 350 torn down still deciding on parts

Hello everyone! I was given a 72 350 and have torn it down. It had a bent push rod and the camshaft shows some damage on one lobe. It is a two barrel and would like to change the intake to an aluminum 4 barrel intake.I also would like to use flat top pistons. My goal is to have a lower revving engine with a good amount of torque. Any recomendations would be appreciated. Also I havent decided on a car yet, early seventies cutlass? Or maybe 80's cutlass??

Try bay for pistons. I was pleased to find a warehouse that sold me +030 Speed-Pro TRW Forged flat-top pistons ,new for a price I couldn't get anywhere local and the shipping was free (or included). Falcon Global.
Edelbrock made a "Performer 350" intake manifold that can be found on ebay as well. The advertised power range is from idle-5500 rpm. If you want to breath deeper the "Performer RPM" (7111) manifold is good from 1500-6500 RPM.
Surely you have looked up Dick Miller ,Mondello ,and Rocket racing inline already?

I have been looking on e-bay and craigslist. I am trying not to break the budget maybe i'm being too cheap! I thought I found a Holley Dominator intake but turned out to be for an older pontiac. Cost $40!! Still looking and doing research. I did look on Mondello and may go with one of their cams. Thanks for the info!!!

So far I have only visited Mondello web site for price comparison and technical information which I have been shared with my local machinist Elsasser to get his opinion. I haven't actually purchased machine work yet.

Thanks Dan for steering us Newbs with that link.

dpt618 stay away from single plane intake designs such as Holley's Dominators and Edelbrock's Victor and Torker series. If you are lookinng for low RPM power you'll want something dual plane or split plenum.

I am fine tuning my Oldsmobile Info but I do have experience putting together street engines.
