Hi from Wisconsin
I hail from the land of salt-infested roads that feed the dreaded tin-worm. But there are still a few choice Oldsmobiles around anyway. I used to have a 1972 Olds 98 Regency, from 1973-'78. Of course, I wish I still had it. There were a lot of other Oldsmobiles in my life but I'll post about them later...
Anyway, glad to find this place. I'll always love Oldsmobiles

I live near Madison, in south central Wisconsin (Swissconsin, I like that!).
Another car from my past was my cousin's 1970 Cutlass Cruiser wagon. It had the 350 V8 w/ 2-barrel carb. Still plenty of power. They drove that car for a lot of years and it served them well. They tried to replace it with a 1981 Custom Cruiser with the diesel V8...not such a great idea. After goofing with the diesel for a number of years, they finally jacked it out and replaced it with a 403 from a '78 98. That car would haul pretty good after the transplant!

Sadly, I no longer have an Oldsmobile. But I do have a huge collection of Oldsmobile sales literature from 1946 on up. Plus all those wonderful memories of driving and riding in all kinds of Oldsmobiles over the decades. Some day, I hope to have another Rocket V8-powered car, preferably a big ol' 98...
