newbie with a 62 Starfire.

Hi. I'm an all around newbie..... I recently bought 4 Oldsmobiles....a geat find.... I bought 2 1962 Dynamic 88's, and 2 1962 Starfires. "Found these cars sitting in a field, where a guy had bought them to try to restore, and couldn't find the time. I worked at the 88's a bit, and then sold them, and recouped my money. With a grand total of 0.00 dollars invested, I am now starting on the Starfire, to do a complete restoration/ratrod. I will have a number of good Starfire parts to sell in the near future, but I am also looking for a few parts. I found this site, and hope to get some help and give some help as well. Soooo. I'm looking forward to your responses. I'm uploading a few pics now, that I will post with the help of my computer savy, not so car savy wife.

Welcome to CO

Starfires are great looking cars. Should be a beut. when she's done. Lets see those pictures

Avatar–noun 1. Hindu Mythology . the descent of a deity to the earth in an incarnate form or some manifest shape; the incarnation of a god.

2. an embodiment or personification, as of a principle, attitude, or view of life.

3. Computers . a graphical image that represents a person, as on the internet.

Take your pick

Welcome to CO, CBolin! I think you "done real good" on your group purchae(s), especiallly w/sellling the other two and recouping your investment. That really looks to be a solid Starfire, and the finished product is going to be outstanding, I am sure.
