posting pics

Ive had my car for about 6 years but I just started really working on it since jan 2010. My car is a mild build 1970 Cutlass Supreme , I had the short block build at a local machine shop, bored 40 over. I had a comp cam extreme energy (xe268h)put in it with intake at duration at .50 224 and exhaust 230, lobe lift .3030 int and 3060 exh.. I did not port or polish the heads but I did the work myself at wifes uncle shop in Cypress, wth stainless steel valve guides and seats. I put valve springs and keepers from Mondello from a similar spec cam they carry (so no valve seat cutting required ) that matches the comp cam i have. I had 1.6 ratio roller rocker arms pushrods and lifter kit to match the cam as well. I have a 670 street avenger, proform hei distributor, hedman headers, edelbrock performer rpm. I installed Pypes 2 1/2 dual exhaust with x pipe. Hope to get her started in the next couple of days. Here is a couple of pics I hope they go through! One the pics I posted I found on the web and its what Im shooting for.

Got the Supreme to purr today

Got the cutlass started today, I messed up at first was off 180 deg, but the engine sounded wonderfull. Broke the cam in today and need to drain the oil for next time and adjust the timing. Any ideas on timing? Any input is appreciated. Gonna have a friend come over and help me out, he is a diesel mechanic.

Help on cleaning up the vacuum lines?

I was told that the dtvs on the front of the intake can be removed altogether. Hook up the vacuum line that comes from tranny to the carb which is full vacuum and the one that hooks up to the distributor straight to the carb, what do you all think? Any nays?
