Welcome to our site! You have to understand the sense of humor my guys have on here! You should see some of the stuff they say to me - I never know if it's true or if they're foolin with me, lol! See I would have read that post and come back and said "Jamesbo.... what's a shift key"?? Even though I know there probably isn't such a thing cause he put all those big grins on there! Besides, he's been traumatized lately - gotta give him a break! He needs to laugh!!

A shift key is what you use to start your shift, dummies!
Olds didn't always put the seat type on the body tag. The trim code is often specific to a certain type of seat if you have the information to decode it. I'll look when I get home tonight.

OK- 1971 TR 973 codes to 4257 Cutlass Supreme Holiday Coupe (2D HT) blue vinyl Strato-bucket seats.
PNT 11/24 sounds like car was originally a white painted roof which is unusual on a Supreme. Most of them had vinyl roof cover but your body tag doesn't indicate CO8 for vinyl roof.
620 sounds like an Arlington-specific code, but it had something to do with a body option that Fisher Body had to make provisions for. It may have to do with the outline trim for the painted roof as Fisher would have had to install the weld studs for the trim clips.
And uh, yeah, Monty, Jamesbo just lost a 69 Hurst to an electrical fire. Amazing he's keeping a sense of humour at all.

No need for sandy vags.
Also if you use the 'reply' on the lower left, not the 'quick reply' box inder the post, you go down a bit and it says 'manage attachements'. Hit that and you can post pics.Just remember to resize them first if they are huge.
And everyone gets them busted occasionally,I got it my second day.
Oh,well. It looks like you are getting the info you need.Welcome! ---bil

Speaking of avatar, what is that bizarre aircleaner looking thing you have in yours now?!

Sicky, I work with a guy who was stationed in SA in the 80s. Lord help I hope you don't have some of the stories he does... he was either buck wild or has a vivid imagination. And I'm hard to shock
