Thank you all for the warm welcome. I've been around cars and classics all my life. I bought it from my grandpa; he has owned it since 1992. I am trying to figure out the history. It seems like the internet is not very friendly these days for searches, so I am glad to be here. I am trying to figure out the lineage of the car. I know it's a 330 block lol. (381817) I will follow up with more pics soon. I need to get it running to hit the sunlight.

Koops99, others on this site are more familiar with the 1964 cars than I but if you post a good picture of the cowl tag I am sure we can decode it for you. The cylinder head installed on 1964 330 CID is identified with the number 1 casting in most cases. Some have indicated that the number 2 casting may be found on very late production units. As mentioned elsewhere, the number 1 casting cylinder head utilized a shaft rocker arm assembly; all later cylinder heads use the pedestal type rocker arm. I am not sure what you mean by "PCV information". Hope this helps.

Koops99, I highly recommend you post the picture and ask the question in a new post in the "General Questions" section of "TECHNICAL & REFERENCE" to get some new eyes on this. From paintref.com , the 1964 Oldsmobile color code "E" is "Jade Mist". The "10B" is the date of manufacture code, 2nd week of October which would correspond with the low body production number, 1443. So you have an early production 1964 Olds! I do not have a trim code chart for that year nor would I be sure if the LA in the body code denotes Lansing as the assembly location. Interesting that there are no accessory codes stamped. I do not have a chart for that year "Style" code either but others on here can answer those open questions on your cowl tag or "body plate".
