1972 Cutlass

This was my father’s before mine he did not take very good care of it just left it sitting I’ve been working on it and trying to learn more about the cutlass. Is this a sports coupe or a Supreme? It has a break booster added redone suspension I did an engine rebuild a couple months ago and can post pictures if you guys would like it’s a little messy but I’m learning quickly. The original radio lights up but produces audio too faint to listen to when engine is running, I’m assuming just new speakers but any suggestions would be appreciated. Anything else I should work on or suggestions? I would like to do some body work to remove rust behind the rear wheel but I’ve never welded on cars, I’m contemplating paying to have someone do it and then repaint the original red.

Side Note

I have the original rims, currently can't afford new tires to put them back on saving money for parts and will put the original rims back on one day.

Welcome.

That is not a Supreme as those 2 door versions are notch back style in 70, 71, and 72.

1972 Cutlass S Sports Coupe which is commonly known as a post coupe. Body style 72-3677.

There's a body data plate underhood. Post a pic of it and we can tell you more about your car.

Good looking S. Nice job underhood too. Are your original wheels 14" or 15"?
