1950 Olds Rocket 303
Will be making some upgrades.
Electric rack and pinion steering.
Dual evaporator HAVC system.
Gear reduction starter so the rack and pinion will fit.
Need to find or make 3grove crank pulley to handle a 250Amp dual belt alternator and an SD709 compressor. Found This on E-Bay for a 57 88 Being the 303 is internally balanced, thinking we should be able to remove the balance ring and utilize the 3 grove pulley, so I can use 2 for the AC and one for the fan alternator. Does anyone know if this will fit on t Was able to get the parts from RBS Supper chargers in Carson City to build a 4V pulley system. Had my Machinist cut the BB Chrysler hub to fit snug to the 303 rocket. The 2V pulley's with a .250 spacer make a perfect fit as close to the block as we can go. The waterpump pulley is from an BB Old's, with a custom hockey puck adapter to fit the 303 Rocket water pump.

Reason: Updates
Welcome. Very nice car. I see the rack and pinion steering. What are you doing about the rest of the antique front suspension? I don't know if they ever used a three-grove crankshaft and water pump pulley. The power steering cars used a two grove and the AC cars used a four-grove with two belts on the AC compressor. They are very hard to come by and expect to pay several hundred dollars for a set. This is going to be an interesting thread to follow.
This is going to be dual belts for the 13 CID compressor and the Hi output 250 Amp alternator.
The crank will be built using Hub and pulleys from https://www.rbssuperchargers.com/index.cfm if a hub from ATI wont work or maybe modified.
if anyone has a Old's hub for sale i would be interested.
Will be running a 6 blade solid shrouded fan.
Will post pictures of the insulation work with Dynamatt later.
