Howdy all. I've been a regular window shopper of forums on this site since I ran across it a few years ago, but never had joined before. My dad always was into Oldsmobile's and they've been around in the family since I can remember, his feeling for these cars passed to me and was one of those things that we could share in together. He had a '72 Supreme and that was the first car I got to drive when I was learning to drive back in the mid '80s. I've a '65 442 that was my high school car. Dad had bought it out of a field and originally his intension was to fix it up for himself, but along the way he decided to give it to me and we worked on it between my sophomore and senior year. It's about 32 years later, give or take some change, and I've still got it and intend that it goes to one of my girls when I get to be too crotchety to take it out any longer. Last year my father passed, he left behind a few that will divvy up between my sister and I, and hopefully those to our respective kids too. He was always a pretty private guy, he didn't do car shows, just the swap meets. I thought I'd share mine as well as his as we all care about these cars....

My '65. I don't keep the old hubcaps on, I have chrome 15" SS ii's typically. I used to run the CP 200 'coke bottles' which I'd love to put back on if I could figure out the sizing.

Dad's '71 W-30

Dad's '64 Vista

Dad's '65 442 'was to be' project of a friend who passed a few years ago. Sadly when he got into it the car was more far gone than he wanted to take on. We still have it, but it's not a nice looking as this picture now.

Behind the curtain of the PRI, too funny! Nice cars, I have my dad's old 65 Vista in the back garage in dire need of restoration. Always loved the 65 442.

Yes, that's the same one. As well as the question of boring over the 400 in another thread. The blue '65 in my picture posts does have a 'good' engine in it, believed to be unaltered. It could be a donor if needed in the end.

I tried to post a few other cars of the past, but those ran into issues. Over the years he also had a '65 Vista, '66 Vista, '64 flat top, and a built '64 F85. I didn't have pictures of all of them, just the '66 and the F85. I drove that Vista a few times, it was a nice one. He sold all of those along the way. The '64 the next person wrapped around a tree from what I remember. He also left a project '64 F85 that I'm hoping to finish off.

That's an AMC Eagle, friend of family's car. Actually belonged to the guy who repainted my '65 in the foreground. He put a 383 stroker in that.
