rb25 who?
Hi there,
my name is Christian, i found this forum a few days ago, looking for infos help and parts on my projects. As you may recognize by my language skills, i am living outside the us, in Germany to be specific. I´m into this old car business for a long time now, changed hobby to business and make my living out of it. I run a muscle car restauration shop here in Stuttgart, restoring and repairing classic muscle cars for my customers. If anybody is interested: www.oldschoolcustoms.de (and yes, we do have a great coffee, so if anyone of you ever visit germany, come over!)
Beside that, i am more a niche fan; mainly gm. I really do love those overpowered muscles, but when it comes down buying a car for myself i always prefer the underdogs...
So to make a long story short, here are the cars i own.
59 Impala Convertible Export Model - once an austrian parade car, will be restored to original. I modified it slightly, just to drive around until i will find some time for the restauration...

61 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 Convertible - the car that brought me here. Bought it in Sweden, because i really like the rear and side design. But the car was so rusty, i decided to do a full custom on it. So i bought a 4door, used all convertible sheet metal parts that were usable and used them to build a perfect body out of them two. Then the real modifications started, like using a 64 Polara Frontend, Modified Rear with frenched Bumper an Moldings, 63 Riviera Interior, 59 Impala Dash with 64 Mercury Gauges, 91 Caprice Drivetrain with Th700, Airride, Full Silver Flaked Frame, Blood Red Candy on a shaved Body, DIsc Brake Conversion, ect ect. I will post the restauration in another Thread in the Your Rides Section, just some pics here.

62 Pontiac Grand Prix - 4speed, 8 Lug, Tripower, Power Brakes Power Windows Car. Unrestored. And will never be. Perfect Survivor, i simply love that junkyard dog look. Bought cheap from a guy in netherland who doesnt know what he was offering...

65 Ford Falcon Sprint - also an original 4speed Bucket Seat 289cui Junkyard Racer. Bought it via ebay from Texas. It is a perfect Muscle Match to my Pontiac. Restored every mechanical part but kept the look. Perfect Team, i love both of them.

65 Buick Riviera. True Export Car, built in Netherland, sold to Germany in 65. There was an article about it in the Buick Owners Magazine, titled "The Rarest of the Rare". I bougth that car long ago in a very bad condition, but wanted it so much. Fully restored but different drivetrain, because i wanted a reliable long distance driver. And thats what it is. From my wedding and honeymoon to my every year holidays - this car simply runs great and has never let me down ever since.

71 Ford F-150. My beloved hauler, does all the work and never complains. Like an old dog. Changed the drivetrain years ago due to economics, has a Firebird Drivetrain (305/700) inside.

And then there are some european cars, like an 71 Opel GT (my first car ever) or a 76 Jaguar XJ6C Coupe (comverted to a 327 Chevy) - my wifes summertime daily.
Something else? Married, one daughter. Never owned a modern car...
Hope this wasnt too boring, Christian.

love the junkyard look, i have a 56 chevy 150 handyman wagon with a 30 year old repaint, stock steelys with dogdish hubcaps,283 4spd.people ask when i'm going to restore it and i tell them its finished. i absolutely love the 61 olds, they look custom out of the factory but i like what you did to it. the riv is one of my favorite non olds cars ever.nice to know american muscle lives on in europe.jc
Some of the pics won't download for me but that Dynamic convertible is a stunner. Who'd have thought that 64 Dodge grille would have fit in there and looked so "right"? Neat trick on the Impala dash combined with Merc gauges too- I had to remember the Merc gauges were laid out similar to the 59-60 Chev.
