Smile Excited Newbie

I spotted a 1970 supreme convertible behind a beat up fence in the back yard. I asked if she wanted to sell it and you would have thought she won the lottery. She said she had been dying to get rid of the car ever since her son left it there after he got married and had a baby. 2 hours and $1000 later it was on a flat bed to my garage. I have started stripping it for restoration and want to knoe if Fusick or Year one is better for parts...or somewhere else??. Funny thind was my dad bought a new 442 convertible new in 1970...mom blew it up though. He's 82 now and saw it the other day must have lost 10 years if only for 10 mins. Sorry for being so wordy. Any advise will be great!!

Welcome

Welcome aboard

X 2 on Fusicik.

When you call Year One you may be speaking to a Camero guy on the phone.

I'll post some when I get a chance. I am taking pics of each stage of the restoration. Probably more because I know remembering where everything was is out of the question for my short term brain. Thinking of going to Fall Carlisle, is it worth it? Only 3 hrs away.

Welcome, Haven't been to Carlisle for a number of years. I remember it as not having alot of olds stuff but was always fun to do. You should go just for the experince and the feel. I saw great deals and over priced junk. If you go have a good idea what you want and are willing to pay. Where are you located?

Hey, another 1970 Cutlass convertible on board - cool. Welcome to club. Good story on the find.

I've never bought from Year One, but have from Fusick (who has treated me right).

Welcome.

Fusick is definitely great.

Anything they don't have check with the following:
1) Supercars Unlimited
2) Mondello Performance
3) The Parts Place

First 2 are good for mechanical parts. The Parts Place is good, but you have to stay on top of what they send you. Basically, call and ask questions before ordering from them.

If you need interior, go with Legendary Auto Interiors.

upload challenged

When I try to upload images it tells me there was and error...no luck.
jpg is 2.2 mb per pic. Tried turning off all internet security etc; nothing.
maybe I should just stick to restoring the car
guess i'll have to draw pictures for everybody.
I have never seen an "advanced" anywhere??
