Just got a 1970 Cutlass Supreme

Newbie here. Just got a gorgeous almost all original 1970 Cutlass Supreme w/ the 350 High Compression Rocket. What an awesome car. Some of you may have seen it on the for sale forum here by wiseman (Thanks Anthony!!). So happy with it. But, I am looking for one trim piece. I need the side trim piece that goes on the bottom rear front fender behind the wheel but before the door and follows the lines of the other trim piece that goes across the bottom part of the door into the quarter panel. I can't find any reproduction pieces or anything on Ebay.
Thanks!!
Matt in Illinois

Hi Matt, check this out

Is this the piece you need--the one missing from this car? http://i.ebayimg.com/01/!BZiMmbQ!mk~$(KGrHgoH-DYEjlLl3iGJBKnKBHDWE!~~_35.JPG

If so, I have one you can have. Let me know if it's the one.

AZ, I'll post pics as soon as I figure out how! lol. In the meantime, go to the for sale thread and look at the link to ebay from Wiseman's sale. That's the car.
I am in Oak Lawn, Ill.
J.P., the link didn't work, but my E-mail addy is Chant66@yahoo.com if you can send a pic there!
Thanks all,
Matt

JP...finally found the link you sent. Unfortunately, no, the piece I need is a trim piece from the side of the car. It is chrome, and is the first of three pieces that make up the trim on the side of the car.

Seen the video on youtube, looks very nice, need more 1970's on here being over ran by the 69's. This is a bitter sweet story, man my heart goes out to wiseman. I think we are all feeling the effects in one way or another.

I bought my 1st 70 442 in 77 sold in 86 and have regretted it since, I have had this one 2 years.

Good Luck

OK...that's too bad because it's one of the few decent spare parts I have left over. Good Luck!!!
