Value? All original low miles 65 F85 2dr V6

I've got a line on an all original 65 F85 2dr. pillar with V6 and 2 spd. 75,000 miles. Only seen pics and there's a small amount of rust behind the front wheel otherwise it looks pretty nice. Can't see the interior. What colors were the interiors? What's it worth roughly? Does the 6 cyl decrease the value considerably?

I wouldn't exactly call 75,000 miles "low miles". Colors and trim info is in the SPECS booklet.

I talked to the guy by phone. It's got the blue interior in decent shape, Front seats need repair/recover. Original paint. Never winter driven. Small rust behind drivers wheel at bottom. Couple scuffs here and there no dents. Newer tires and Cutlass wheels. Bad news is someone called an hour before me and really wants it but can't come for 3 or 4 days and is half a days drive so the seller said he would hold it for the guy. ERRRR. Should have called sooner. I'm 30 minutes away. I have second dibs but not holding out much hope.

Ask if you can go see it in the meantime "so you'll be ready if the first guy passes". That's your opportunity to bond with the seller and possibly sway him with a cash in hand offer while you're there. It's only uncool to scoop a friend. Strangers it's game on...

reason w the guy ...a guy on CL says he wants the car, second guy can come now !!! he can call the first guy and say either come now or chance it gone.

I always tell people OK thats fine but the car is still for sale until you come see it so it may get sold.....

I have waited for so the call I can't get there till ? and lost a sale. I hold nothing unless a non-refundable deposit is made. If he calls you then I guess the price just came down. Good luck.

This has always been my attitude when selling anything, not just a car, through a classified ad. I don't like it when the first person to call regarding an ad says "I'm really interested, but I can't come and see it for three days." What am I supposed to do? Tell the next ten callers, some of whom might be able to come look at it immediately, that I'll take their number and call them back?

No. I tell anyone who calls that the car will be sold to the first person who brings me money, not the first person who calls. If you can't see it for three days, fine, but call me before you come over because it might be sold by then.
