Greetings!

I'm not new to Oldsmobiles and considering I joined over a year ago I may not be too new however its never too late to chip in and say something. I've had several Oldsmobiles since 1995 and been on the Oldsmobile e-mail list so I recognize quite a few people that post here from there and realoldspower.com. Currently I have a 1977 Oldsmobile Delta 88 pace car that I've had in various states of disrepair since 2002. I removed the original engine/trans from it back in 2004-5 and built a 403 with KB405s and a comp cams XE262 cam and stuffed a Tremec TKO 5 speed in it, then mothballed the car from 2008 until 2015 when I moved it from my parents house to mine. It sat in my driveway for another 2 years before I decided to finally get it roadworthy and enjoy it. I'm still plugging away at it but at least I've been able to put some miles on it. Installed 4 wheel discs on it and put some 3.73s in the rear. Future plans involve rebuilding a set of Ga heads and maybe an Edelbrock performer RPM intake manifold with a different camshaft to take advantage of the BB heads. I have a Holley street dominator intake however I'm not sure if I'll use it.

A late welcome to the group... Good luck in your continued efforts with your Delta 88... Any plans in the future to reapply the Pace Car Graphics ??

I'd have to find some. I know the car was optioned with the graphics however they were not included when I purchased it. I ran into a guy at a pick n pull a few months ago who also has a Pace Car. He stated that 3M does make the graphics and stripes are still available for these cars. That won't happen for a while.

I got some Sanderson shorty headers for it, just no time to install.
