1972 Cutlass Supreme Restoration
Hello, I am new to the forum. I have been in the process of getting this 1972 Cutlass Supreme back up and running like new. So far the following has been done.... rebuilt Rochester 4 barrel, rebuilt front end (A-Arm bushings, tie rod ends, ball joints, shocks, springs, bearings), front disc brake conversion, new master cylinder, PV, brake lines. New fuel pump, Iridium plugs, Pertronics ignition. This list goes on....
Since this picture was taken, the front lower quarters have been replaced with new sheet metal replacements.

Usually there's also rust at the rear wheel openings ( I see some surface rust above the trim) and lower quarter panels. Maybe on the deck lid too. The vinyl roof looks pretty good in the picture.

Yes, I have a lift. Don't know what I would do without it. As far as history, I recently got to talk to the son of the original owner. The car was in the same family for 45 years, but the car was neglected and left outside.
Are there any Oldsmobile Clubs in Indy? I would definitely like to meet.

For a car that was neglected and left outside it looks to be in remarkably good shape. Of course you know we'll want to see more pictures of it. So you're the second owner of the car - that's pretty awesome. Also really neat that you know the original owners of the car and can talk with them about it.
Do you have the original documents for the car? Things like bill of sale, window sticker, protecto plate etc....
Have you checked out the cowl tag and VIN information?
