Hello everyone, my name is Lewis. I have a cutlass "S" that my Grandfather bought new in 1972. The car was originally a 350 with a 2 barrel carb and TH350 transmission. It had A/C and cruise control a 2.73 gear and drum brakes. When i got the car around 1982 I replaced the 2 barrel with a 4 barrel the A/C did not work not much use to keep that and as I thought a car only had to speeds wide open or stopped no need for the cruise. Over the next few years I acquired a ram air hood from a junk yard a 455 engine a TH400 transmission and I was getting ready to do a major overhaul on my cutlass. My big plans never materialized and by 1993 the car was showing its age. When the water pump went out I parked the car and it has been sitting outside in the weather ever since. My dream for the car has never died and I am finally ready to finish what I started 25 years ago. I have started a frame off rebuild and hope to be finished with in a year or so. The biggest item I have not been able to locate so far is a Good radiator core support as mine is totally rusted. I have been a member of this site for a while and have searched many items but I am just now getting around to posting. Thanks for all your help. I will post more pic as it progresses.
