Iam the owner of a 1988 Cutlass Supreme SL which i have owned since February of 1990. I am trying to locate Tires for it. I have the 205/14's on the car. i would like to put same size back on the car. Any help would be great. Car stills wears it's original paint and has original interior. Headliner had to be replaced though because it dropped.

Welcome. Standard tires on your car from the factory would have been 195/75-14. The only optional size was 215/65-15. 205/70-14s are within a quarter inch of the same diameter as the 195/75-14s and I'm sure they fit nicely. Everyone sells them - Goodrich, Michelin, Toyo, Khumo, Hankook, Westlake, etc, etc. Take your pick.

Thank you for the help. Is one brand better than the other? I have Michelins on there now but they are about 15 years old. I looked on Michelins web site yesterday and they did not list 205/14's

 

I suggest going to Sam's Club or Costco for tires. I've rarely been able to beat their price and for a daily driver you wouldn't need specialty tires (i.e. sporty white letters or wide white walls).

 

Welcome to the group... You should not have much of a problem obtaining a tire size suitable for your Cutlass... Most any tire discount center should be able to assist you...

 

I did not see any on Michelins site either. 14" tires are not very popular anymore and tire sizes are getting limited. Below is a link to that size at Discount Tire, you need to call and get availability:
