New old Olds guy - Hello!

I'm new here but an old guy (age 63). I've been a collector and fan of all things Oldsmobile for over 35 years. First car, was a 1971 Viking Blue Cutlass "S", still have it! Have several projects in the barn. My 21 year old son is finishing college and will be starting his full time engineering job in one year. Hopefully he will still be interested in working on the projects I have stashed away.

Thanks for letting me join!

Mike, I wanted a ‘72 Hurst like yours for the longest time. I finally found one a few years ago. Thanks for being an unaware inspiration. Do you still have the Hurst?

Welcome from West Michigan. I live in the Rockford area. Not many people can say that still have their first car.

Welcome to the site. What all do you have hiding in the barn? I would love to see more pictures. I really want to see more pictures of the one in your Avatar. I see by one of your other pictures you are looking for information about it. There are a lot of great people on this site, so fill us in. Start a thread about that car and who knows you may find what your looking for, or did you already.

Hi Scott (Oldzee),
Glad to hear you found your 1972 Hurst Olds. Yes I still have mine and it is the only Olds that I can drive and take to car shows, parades, cruise-ins, etc. The rest are projects waiting for time and money.
