1966 442

Hi Guys...
I should have stopped here a few weeks ago, but have been busy cleaning out my garage. I wanted to share with you my first car. Bought in 1971, but haven't driven much over the last few years. My 66 has the 400E block, M-21 with 4.11 gears. Recently added the sidewinder tach, factory chambered exhaust & console. Now just ready for warmer weather in Lansing, Michigan. Hope to see you all at the Oldsmobile Homecoming show in June 2018!

Nice car! I'm sure you'll love to get it back on the road.

David Forstad, right? I think I recall your story with that car from the 442.com site from nearly 20 years ago. Your car gave me inspiration when I had my own similarly equipped 66 442 vert. Glad to see you still have it.

Thanks Aliensatemybuick

... Now if I can just get 442.com to either change my "car show" pictures or remove it entirely, I would be happy. Somehow he reversed my engine compartment picture and it looks like the battery is on the passenger side. I am still getting questions about that to this day. LOL

Just went back to 442.com to refresh my memory (don’t go back there much these days -does anyone?);I see you added back the tri-carb setup you let go way back when. Never noted that flipped engine shot before. That site is like a fly caught in amber, recall a friend telling me years and years ago how he wrote to ask to have his ex-wife’s name removed from the link to his car pics to no avail.

Finally a sunny day in Michigan

After a long winter hibernation, I got her out for a breath of fresh air!
