I have a 1971 Olds Cutlass convertible restored 4 years ago. Pretty much stock with the exception of electronic ignition, after market stereo and hi-flow aluminum radiator. I'm the third owner and have had it for 26 years. Love the car. I've had a bunch of offers, but the four kids want it. So it will probably go with the estate when I kick off. I also have a 2004 Vette convertible. I can tell you the Olds gets waaaay more attention. Only issues I'm working on are an hydronic prob with the power top an need to convert the AC system. A small price for all of the fun it is.

Welcome to the site, nice to see people who have had their cars for a long time. Post some pictures of it when you get a chance.

Welcome aboard. Having been a 2-Vette owner and an Olds owner at the same time, it was not contentious. The Olds got the accolades and the Vettes stay at home. I've now sold the last Vette and have open space in the garage for the next Olds project. Cutlass? H/O? W car? 98 Holiday?

It's morphed over the years. It sold new here as yellow with a. Lack top. The second owner painted it GM red. When I restored it I had it repainted red, but this time Toyota Real Red. It's a hair different than the typical GM red used on the cutlass in 1971. I just like the difference.
