New to group

Hello all, my name is Jeff Meister, new to the group, been around Oldsmobiles for a while. Been a voyuer of the group for a bit and needed to get my feet wet and post on it.

I have a 69 H/O, 74 H/O & 67 Toro and been a member of OCA & H/OCA for years.

Welcome

Welcome aboard Jeff

For those of you who do not know him. Jeff has forgotten more about 69 H/O's than most people will ever know. He has a very informative website
http://www.jeffmeister.com/1969hurst/

Years ago, he took the time via e-mail and detailed pics to help this moron re assembling my 69 H/O [That came in a basket]

We are delighted to have you here Jeff.

And again. Thanks for all of your help and never ending patience.

Kindest regards

Hi Jeff,
I haven't met you yet, but I believe we are in the same general part of the world.
My 69 H/O is currently in progress. I picked it up last May.
Will you be hosting the Chicago area H/O day again this year? I haven't been to one yet, and don't think I will have my car finished, but you never know.

Eric;

Yes, Angelo Valenti and myself will be hosting the Chicago area National Hurst/Olds day on May 16 so please stop on by, car or no car... bring some pictures.
We will be hosting it at Duke's Drive Inn in Bridgeview, IL, I put up details on the H/OCA website, see the H/O Day Link. Anyone else in the Chicago area is welcome as well.

Jeff,

Could you post your avatar of Miss Linda as a pic?

I'd love to snag it.

James;

Sure, should I add it right into the reply or is there another area better suited for images?

Jamesbo,
If you want a later vintage of Linda with a car, go to 69olds.com. Look towards the bottom of the H/O page.
Thats her with my car (2 owners before me).

Thanks Jeff.
Just got my new issue of Thunder and Lightening with the details.
I'll probably drive down in the Solstice, but I'll bring my restoration picture book me!

James;

Ok, attaching it here... it isn't the greatest quality, I think it was a scan from an old Polariod image.... enjoy...

Thanks again Jeff. I believe someone recently said she's coming home to Dalton Gawga next year.
