Just wanted to say hello. Great website! I own a 68' Cutlass S. It's been in my family since my grandfather drove it off the showroom floor new. It's been a wedding present to my mom and dad and a first car in high school for my brother and I. I'm starting restoration so any direction or feedback would be great. Cheers!

The Cutlass S shares most interior and exterior trim features with the 442. There are subtle differences like the Oldsmobile script on the left front of the hood and the 442 had wheel well opening trim as standard while with the "S" it was optional.
The Cutlass Supreme interior and exterior trim is totally different than the "S".
It is always SO COOL when a car has been in the family since new, especially since the '60s. Mine's been in our family since '74 when Dad purchased it from our neighbor who was the original owner. So I can at least say I've known my car since it was new. Welcome to CO.

Rocket 350, auto trans, no AC, bench seat...my grandpa sold Gallo wine out of the trunk to liquor stores. He bought it off the sales floor new!
You've done a great job of restoring it going by the picture.Nice color for that car and the upgrade to the super sport wheels really gives it a more sporty look. Congratulations on owning a car that was in the family since new.

I gotta give Pat a huge THANK-YOU. I am a rookie to the restoration game I admit. I didn't know the specific reason the "S" and the "Supreme" were different. My car is a 1971 Olds Cutlass S.... which now ruins my Username hahahahaha
