Wow, you have a very rare car there! I'm assuming this is a Regency, right? If you didn't already know this, '74 is the first year for the Regency coupe and the ACRS system as well....having both makes for a VERY rare car! I can't wait to hear more about her. You definitely need to get some pictures up here!

yes it is a regency HT 2 door in sage green which I bought of the original owner recently with 20k miles and have all the doc's i'll get some pics soon but she is mint

 

Did you buy it from a member on here? It sounds exactly like another we had heard about a couple of years ago. Same description, color, mileage, etc. If it's the same car, you got a very nice car!

 

I got it in Pittsburgh it has no cruise or pulse wipers but has tempermatic air and no tilt of course since it has air bags it hasn't been on the road since 86

 

Very nice! Where are you located? If you're on the east coast, the New England Oldsmobile Club annual show is September 18th in Berlin, CT. It would be GREAT to have your car there! We are expecting about 1/2 dozen '75/'76 Ninety Eight's already. '74's are pretty rare and yours is extremely rare!

That is a bit of a drive for a one day show but that's up to you guys to work out

What might be much more feasible is the OCA Nationals is in Gettysburg, PA in 2018!

 

You couldn't get either tilt or cruise with ACRS is why yer big girl doesn't have them. The rarity of ACRS offsets the lack of those creature comforts.

Can ya post a pic of the steering wheel? Bound to think most on here have never seen one.

 

I once saw a Fleetwood Talisman with an airbag. The center of the wheel was square, and quite unusual looking.

 

 

A Talisman on its own would be a rare sighting, and one with ACRS gets into rarest of rare territory.

Also notice difference in left side of glovebox door with ACRS. Yes there was an airbag there too.
