Hello, I'd like to introduce myself...
Hello, my name is Gerardo and i'm from San Francisco,Ca. Some months ago I bought a 1936 Oldsmobile F-36 and stumbled into this forum. I am currently trying to hunt down some original accessories for the car. I'm hoping someone here can point me to the right direction in finding them.
In high school, I drove a 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass S which I ended up selling to buy a 1970 2wd blazer. Later on I ended up buying a 1968 Cutlass S convertible which I couldn't afford to restore so i sold it.
I later bought a 1969 Cutlass Supreme off the original owner. I asked him if he would sell the car some years back before buying it from him and he said no but took down my number and years later he called me to pick up the car. I ended up selling that car some years later to buy a 1938 Chevy.
The 1936 Oldsmobile I bought from the originals owners family. The seller was the nephew of the original owner. He told me she bought the car brand new in Santa Barbara and that the car always remained in California. The car does have a repaint and the motor has been rebuilt but he did mention to me that the interior in the car is still original from the factory.
Well, here are some pictures of the car that were on the ad. I have since added whitewalls.

Welcome to C.O. Gerardo.
Your 36 looks absolutely stunning. IIRC that was close to the first year that Olds introduced their artillery wheel. The wide white walls do make it look very classy.

The 1941 Chevy next to my 1936 Olds was mine also but I sold it about a month ago to keep the 1936 Olds. Wish I could keep them all.
I do also own a 1939 Chevy Coupe and a 1963 Chevy C10

thanks for the warm welcome guys!
Allan R. the previous owner frowned on the white wall idea. He requested that I shouldn't add them since they didn't come originally with them but also commented it wasn't his car anymore lol.

Gerardo, welcome to CO. If you can't find what you need here might I suggest that you check the H.A.M.B website. There are lots of older cars represented there, admittedly, mostly Fords but.....
Welcome to CO Gerardo. Wow that's one saweeet car! You may want to post in parts wanted section of this site for what your looking to pick up in the way of maintenance parts. There's lots of knowledge around here. Kanter maybe an option as well.
