I´m not really a olds-guy... I own a 1947 Chevrolet Fleetline Aerosedan. And these GM-cars from that era share many parts. (Fisher body manual...)
My car started life in Port elizabeth / South Africa as a right hand car.
Lucky for me meeting a guy whos was changing the frontend to a Mustang II IFS from Heidts. So his complete front-axle and steering-gear was available...
Another guy in GB was also in trouble driving a "as he called left-hand-hooker on the island" as I was driving a right-hand-car on the continent -> so we make a even deal!
We are both into custom cars... he for years and I with my first-time project here.
WHAT BRINGS ME HERE:
...is the fact that I bought a 1947 (?!) Oldsmobile dash for customizing my car. BUT - it misses the astray -> I hope to find here!!!
