I live in Frankfurt am Main Germany and expecting the arrival of my 1956 Oldsmobile 2-door sedan.
At the moment I arrange the transportation in my hometown to finally attach the number plates.

Hi Martin,

it's white/red and I am waiting for a call from transportation company.
I bought the car from RD classic cars in Emmerich am Rhein, located close to the Netherland border.
They did all paperwork necessary to get the German licence for complicate registration in case of oldtimer.
I hope I can provide the forum next with some pictures.
Patience is the magic word, I belive, in case of oldies - this car is waiting since 56 years for me, so even I will wait for some weeks more :-)

...finally my car has arrived in rainy German winter conditions!
Salt and snow on the road. I quickly moved from the trailer into the garage and wait for better weather conditions to get the license plate.
Here are two pictures, more will follow with license plate and sunny weather conditions.
