Cool Starfire Wheel covers

Greetings from New Jersey!! Just purchased a 39000 mile 1961 Starfire from the original owner. I came with wire wheel covers but I like the Starfire caps. I purchased a set but apparently they require special clips to attach to the wheels. Any one know where I might find these or at least a picture so that i can make them?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Welcome to Classic Olds and as Don mentioned we enjoy pictures, The clips are being reproduced now and Fusick automotive sell them, you will require 5 per wheel to be safe.

Welcome to Classic Olds. Just in case Fusicks don't have the hubcap retainer clips, they are listed on EBay '57- '63 Olds hubcap retainer clips. They look correct, but they seem real proud of them ($135) for a full set of 20! Good luck, Larry

Cool Thanks guys!

Fusick was the way to go!! Just so you know, the are the same for '57 to '60 and '62 to 65. OF COURSE '61 is unique one year only being 1/4" shorter and $.50 more expensive (go figure!) Bu they are on my work bench!!

But another inquiry please...What color is correct on my wheel covers for a Black exterior and Burgundy interior? I nave two burgundy, two white and a green in my stash.
