Hello from Northampton, England!

Hello all. Im not an Olds owner yet but Im hoping in the near future to get my hands on one!

My name is Jay, Im 28 and live in Northampton, England, UK.

Ive always been a fan of beast american cars, and over the years have dreamed of owning one; I would especially love a late 60's Toronado!

One day I will have the Oldsmobile of my dreams. My mechanical knowledge is limited at the moment but im hoping joining you all here will help me to learn a few things!

Thought I would say hello! :-)

Welcome to ClassicOlds.

You will find that there are a number of other limey barstuds here as well, and some of them may be able to help direct you to cars and parts when the time comes.

Great to have you aboard!

Awesome, thanks for making me feel welcome guys

I have actually spotted a car over here in blighty that Im interested in, and wanted to see what all of you pros might think about it, specific questions I should ask the current owner, whether its obviously a rotbox etc - but I don't want to put the thread in the wrong forum.

Where shall i start my thread guys? Is under General Discussion ok?

Yes, I would call that "General Discussion."

Photos are always best, as we can spot things that may not be obvious.
