Welcome to the site Frank, there a many on here with the same affliction. Post some pics when you get a chance. A list of items posted in the Parts Wanted classifieds may net you some joy.

Welcome,Frank. You just boarded the world 's biggest boat load of people with the same "sickness" and we're all quarantined for life. You'll just have to make the best of being around the most knowledgeable "Oldsmoholics" and helpful people in the world. We like pictures, when you get a chance. Larry

Welcome. Hopefully you knew about the lack of parts availability for the 61-63 cars before you got this one. These cars are not well supported by the aftermarket and even regular maintenance parts like brake shoes can be tough to get. The 63s have some one-year-only parts in the suspension and steering linkage, also. I'm not trying to discourage you, but just being sure you are an informed owner. Good luck.

Welcome Frank,
I used to live in Bakersfield, and it is a great place to own a classic car. The weather is perfect for it, and there used to be some awesome speed shops on Rosedale Hwy, but that was over ten years ago so not so sure now.
