Looking at purchasing a 1969 F85 post coupe. Current owner purchased in 1980 believing it was a W31. No build sheet, no proof.

I am in Canal Fulton, Ohio.

I do have a question:

In the black plastic wheel wells there are round cut-outs for the OIA tubes that have been covered with riveted round aluminum. It was done very crude. Is this something the factory would have done?

I do have a couple more questions if you guys wouldn't mind answering?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Scott
