I have a rear housing 10 bolt GM ,I think its a 8.5 "O". I was told when bought that it was from a 70 chevelle but I cant match the #'s to anything . HELP!!! It has C2 close to vent , a large N next to OA147O,the O before and after the A147 look like oval head screws with a line on them so they would be for a flat head screwdriver, but they are casted in. Also there is this #, 1251502 on the housing, thats it. If any body can help I'd be stoked , I need to narrow this rearend and not sure what new ends to get for the shop , before I take it to them. I don't think Oldsmobile made a 10 Bolt O code rear end. Monzaz is our resident expert on third members so if he doesn't notice this post give him a PM. Sure he could help out. Welcome to CO.

 

The O is technically a 10 bolt with a 12 bolt cover.
