what's the name if this part

350 rocket. 72 cutlass. Stock intake .if your looking at the engine from the front it's what the water hose hooks to on the back left rear of the intake. Mine rusted

It's most likely the heater control valve.....

If the car has A/C, it's a heater control valve. If it does not have A/C, it's called a nipple and it has a restrictor built into it.
