Tilt Wheel Turn Signal Switch

Hello All,

I just got a 67 Vista Cruiser and have been going through the electrical bugs. I've got everything except for the brake light malfunction. The left brake light stops working when you use the turn signals and return it back to the non turn position. Both blinkers work fine. I've narrowed it down to the blinker switch since if you move it some, you can get the brake light to turn back on. It looks like the wrong one has been put in since there was a plastic interference in the 12 o'clock position where is looks like there are wires for a light that is not used. I cut this off to try to get it to lay flatter but it didn't help.

Does anyone know where to get a switch for a tilt wheel 67? I assume a Cutlass or Chevelle would work also?

Thanks,
Jim

Also, when replacing this switch, can you just take the pins out of the connector and slide them through the collar of the column or do you have to take the whole column apart?

Thanks again,

Jim
