TH350 vin decode help

I'm new to the site. I need help with decoding the number on my trans. It's stamped on a pad on the side. It is a BOP. The number is 33M267504. Also. Is there any way to find out what kind of car it came from? Thanks. I love this site.

I believe that translates to
3 = Oldsmobile
3 = most likely 1973
M = Lansing
267504 = VIN derivative of car it was installed on. Is there a little tag on there as well about 1.5 and 2 inches

Yup. I'm not sure Olds even used the TH350 in 1983, but if they did it would have been a TH350C with the lockup torque converter.
