Still looking for help with 1962 F85 Transmission conversion

I posted some time ago looking for help on how to convert my Hydromatic Automatic transmission to a Manual Transmission... What Manual transmission will work and the easiest to install? Have had my transmission rebuilt 3 times and still giving me problems. Anyone know? Thanks!!

The factory service manual for your car will show you everything you need to know to convert your car to the factory-optional T10 manual trans. Obviously you'll need the clutch pedals and linkage, which are only available used. You'll have to search the usual sources (ebay, Craigslist, jetfire.com, etc). Be aware that the 1961 clutch linkage is different from the 62-63 linkage. The original T10 is the easiest swap. A T5 five speed can work also, but requires some fabrication. D&D sells a repro bellhousing and I believe they can also supply the flywheel and pilot bearing.
