Say Hi to the noob
Hey, everybody
Omicron told me about this site, so I thought I'd drop in and take a look around. I don't currently own an Oldsmobile, but I've had several in the past:
1968 442, my first car, dropped a 455 out of a jet boat into it. Pretty scary car with a 4-speed and 3.91s.
1969 Hurst/Olds, factory a/c, restored to 987 point show car
1970 442 Indy pace car convertible
1972 Hurst/Olds Indy pace convertible, track car
1972 Hurst/Olds hardtop, sunroof car
1968 442 W30
1972 Cutlass Supreme convertible, 455 with DualGate, factory dual exhaust
1970 Toronado GT
After doing several of my own restorations, plus helping a friend restore his W30, I got tired of turning wrenches and moved on to late model muscle. But I miss the classic Oldsmobiles. Of all the ones I've owned, I think I miss the '72 Supreme convertible the most. It was Viking Blue with white top and white interior, 37K miles, and a really sweet car.

Welcome, Jon! That's quite a pedigree of Oldsmobile's. I love the early one ('68 w/455 and low gears); bet that was scary! Lots'a nice folks on this site, I monitor at least once a day. You do know, of course, that there ARE other Oldsmobile's out there for sale!
