Rochester Pace Car

Hello - I found a 1970 Cutlass pace car locally here in Rochester NY and am in the process of restoring the car. This will be my first Olds restoration. Car is a genuine Y74 pace car. And is very complete. However, at some time the car was repainted and of all colors - green. And the A/C hoses were removed along with some engine vacuum hoses. Am interested in talking to other Pace Car owners. And looking for help in getting the 350 engine and A/C detailed correctly. really looking forward to bringing this car back to what it was.

Yes - the car was advertised as a Pace Car. I knew about the Y74 code and I also checked the VIN on the block. Original hood. More of the white paint showed when disassembled

the car was on Craigslist. It is also a true festival or track car. Car # 79 from the Pace Cars assigned by GM for the Indy 500. Seller was selling two or three of his "project" cars. He had it for quite some time but did not know much about the history of why it was painted green.
