I just bought a 1957 olds s88 4 dr. ht with the original purchase paper work. It has the J2 option which cost 98.00 dollars. It is rust free but has not been running for years. I got it running, but need to get some parts. where is some good source for parts?

Dave welcome aboard, love the 57's.

You will have to be a little more specific as far as parts, engine, trim, body interior, brakes. You see what I mean?
Fusick is the go to place for general engine, brakes and some trim parts. they are good people to deal with but are a bit spendy. I've used USA Parts Supply and many others depending on what it is. It ain't a Chevy so parts are going to be harder to find. Often if you have a good old guy at your local parts house that will work with you there are parts available cheaper there but they probably won't be in the computer, hence the need for the old guy who has been there done that. A little more detail and we will be able to help you get where you need to be, a lot of knowledgeable people here so just ask. And they will bug you to death if you don't post a few pictures of your ride so you might as well post them up ...Lost in the fifties...Tedd

Where's the pictures. Tedd told you we would bug you. Seriously, Welcome. The 57 is a great one year car that you will really enjoy. The J2 is a very desirable option.
