Ram Air Hood on a 69' Cutlass

I am thinking of getting a 70' ram air hood for my 69' cutlass. I was told that you need to make some mods to have it fit. but what if I was to buy one of the pin down fiberglass hoods.

1. would it fit?
2. would it look right if i painted it to match?
3. how sturdy would it be?

Yes. You will need to use the hood tooth and chrome "hockey stick" trim from the 1969 hood.

This is a matter of personal taste. I personally don't think the 70 hoods look right on a 69, but that's my opinion. Only your opinion matters.

Pin-on hoods are designed for race cars and are typically thinner and more flexible than thicker bolt-on hoods. You can run them, just be aware of the differences.
