I need to replace a couple of the bulbs in my 1967 Olds 442 Rally Pack. Is there a way to simply remove just the Rally Pack cluster gauges instead of removing the entire dash?

You do not have to remove the dash nor the Rally Pack to change the light bulbs! Just be a contortionist and crawl under, you will find the bulbs each in a small removable housing.

 

Be aware that you can do a bit of lighting design by using bulbs of different wattages.

You may want the background light bulbs a little dimmer than the gauge/idiot lights or other preferences.

Assuming you’re using the little blade bulbs which stick into the plastic/brass housings, you might take a moment to bend the brass tabs up a few degrees to restore a tight fit to the circuit boards they fit into.
